This Knowledge Article discusses how to use the Refer-A-Friend Program.
Every user on RebateFanatic.com has a unique invite code for their ReferAFriend link.
Your code is in a couple of places:
1. It is in your Account page, in the Refer-A-Friend Section located here: https://www.rebatefanatic.com/user/refer-a-friend. If you are already logged in it will take you right there, if not you will need to be logged in.
2. It is included in most emails, we will include a link to this page, and a link to your Refer-A-Friend Account details screen.
It is very easy to create a link to share. If you wanted to link straight to the home page you use the following link:
https://www.rebatefanatic.com/?ref=XXXXX
If you wanted to deep link into the site, say to your favorite retailer page, like Moosejaw you would use something like this:
https://www.rebatefanatic.com/retailers/moosejaw?ref=XXXX
It is also important to point out that in the examples above the 'XXXX' is a place holder for your referral code.
How do I get credited? Good question.
The way it works is that you will send your invite out and your friend will be added to the 'Your Referrals' section of your account. Once your friend has received $5 USD in Cash back into their account, you will be credited in a pending state the $5 invite credit.
The $5 invite credit will be turned into cash in the next cash back payout period (Payout Periods are listed here) once we have reviewed the results.
